What does the policy cover?

LifestyleProtect protects your credit card payments against accident & sickness, involuntary unemployment, hospitalisation and offers life and carer cover. It could also help with your payments for 2 months if you experience one of life's expensive events such as buying a principal home, getting married, retiring, having a baby or adopting and much more. You will have access to valuable extras such as a free Experian credit report annually, free ID theft assistance and a loyalty bonus. How do I know if I'm eligible?

You must be the individual named on the credit agreement, have agreed to pay the monthly premium and you must meet the age and employment criteria. You must be between the ages of 18 and 70. For disability, involuntary unemployment and carer cover you must be under 65 years of age and in work. For hospitalisation cover you must be from 65 up to 70 years of age or permanently retired from work. Please see our policy terms and conditions for full eligibility requirements.

How does Card & Phone SOS work?

Offered through CPP,Card & Phone SOS covers all your cards as well as your passport, driving licence, keys, handbag, mobile phone, cash and more. If your cards go missing we can cancel them all and order replacements with one quick phone call anywhere throughout the world.

What does the policy cover?

You receive complete protection for you and up to four other members of your household. This includes up to £200 to replace your handbag or wallet, up to £1,000 cover for replacing lost keys and locks for buildings and cars, up to £300 for lost or stolen cash, up to £200 lost luggage retrieval, up to £500 for theft of your mobile, and more. What happens if my missing cards are used fraudulently?

If your cards go missing we will place a protective registration warning with CIFAS, the UK’s Fraud Prevention Service. This means extra security checks will be taken before credit is granted in your name.

Am I covered for fraudulent card use before I discover and report my missing cards to CPP?

Yes. You’ll receive cover for up to £5,000 for fraudulent card use prior to notifying us. This only applies if you notify us within 24 hours of realising your cards are missing.

What if I'm away from home and my cards are lost or stolen?

We can provide you with a cash advance so you can continue to enjoy your holiday. We can also provide you with up to £3,000 to cover your hotel bill and offer you a £5,000 advance to replace travel tickets (subject to status and repayable within 28 days).

Are my keys covered?

Yes. Once you’ve registered your cards we'll send you a key tag. If you lose your keys this means you stand a better chance of getting them back. You’re also covered for up to £600 for all lock and key replacements, which includes car hire and transportation costs for up to three days.

What does identity theft mean?

Identity theft is when your personal details are fraudulently taken without your knowledge or consent and then used to make purchases. The most common form is account takeover where criminals get access to credit cards and/or accounts that you already have and spend on those accounts. Read our Security Tips.

How does Identity Protection work?

Offered through CPP, Identity Protection is designed to help prevent identity theft from happening to you and can help to take care of the problem quickly if it does.

What does the policy cover?

Cover includes free, unlimited access to your online Experian credit report, credit report alerts via text or email, up to £60,000 insurance towards the costs of restoring your identity, specialists to help you restore your identity if needed and more. What’s my credit report?

Your credit report is your personal financial history that highlights all your monetary activity. It’s from this report that your credit worthiness is established.
